How to File a Complaint
Steps to report a case to the Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police.
The report you generate in this app is formatted to help you with the first and most crucial step.
- Gather All Evidence: Use this application to collect all screenshots, links, audio/video files, and offender details in an organized manner.
- Generate and Draft Application: Use the "Report" tab in your case view to generate a pre-formatted complaint. Review it and fill in any missing details.
- Print Your Evidence: Print the generated application and all the evidence you have collected (screenshots, chat logs, etc.). Make sure screenshots include URLs and timestamps.
- Submit in Person or via Email: Visit the Cyber Bureau office in Bhotahity, Kathmandu, or your nearest District Police Office to submit the documents. You can also email the documents to cyberbureau@nepalpolice.gov.np.
- Keep Copies: Always keep digital and physical copies of all documents you submit for your own records.
